PairShot Terms of Service

01Acceptance of Terms

  • These Terms govern the use of the PairShot mobile application (the “App”).
  • Downloading, installing, or using the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

02Eligibility

  • The App is available to users aged 14 or older. Users under 14 may not use the App.
  • The App does not require account creation; download and use of the App constitute a statement of eligibility.

03Service Provider

  • The App is provided by an individual developer.
  • Payments, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple Inc. (App Store) or Google LLC (Google Play), depending on the platform on which the App is installed.
  • Digital content and features are provided by the developer.

04Subscription (PairShot Pro)

The App offers the following auto-renewing subscriptions (United States pricing).

iOS (App Store)

  • Monthly: $2.99 / month
  • Annual: $29.99 / year

Android (Google Play)

  • Monthly: $2.99 / month
  • Annual: $29.99 / year

Prices in other regions are displayed in your local currency on the respective store at the time of purchase. Korean pricing is described in the Korean terms (/terms).

A subscription unlocks the following features:

  • Unlimited daily photo pairs
  • Ad removal
  • Watermark logo customization
  • Composite labeling

05Free Trial

  • New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial.
  • If not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription.
  • The free trial may not be available to users who have already used it.

06Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew 24 hours before the expiration date.
  • Charges are billed to the payment method on file with your Apple ID or Google account, depending on the platform.
  • The renewal price reflects the store price at the time of renewal.

07Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the following paths:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions > PairShot
  • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > PairShot
  • Or, within the App: Settings > Manage Subscription

All Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period.

08Withdrawal & Refunds

The subscription provides digital content available immediately on purchase. Under Article 17(2)(v) of the Korean E-Commerce Act, the right to withdraw may be limited once use of the digital content has begun.

Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the platform on which you purchased.

iOS (Apple)

  • Submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • You may also submit a request through Settings > Request Refund within the App (iOS 17+).

Android (Google Play)

09Price Changes

  • If subscription prices change, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance via the App or email.
  • If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel to stop renewal.

10Privacy Policy

Personal data handling is described in our separate Privacy Policy.

11Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided “as is”.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the App. This exclusion does not apply to damages caused by the developer’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
  • Users are responsible for backing up their own data, including captured photos.

12Changes to These Terms

  • When these Terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
  • General changes are announced 7 days before they take effect; changes that are disadvantageous to users are announced 30 days in advance.
  • Previous effective versions remain accessible via the version selector at the top of this page; material changes will also be announced inside the App.

13Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes related to these Terms may be referred to the following Korean mediation bodies:
  • Korea Consumer Agency — kca.go.kr (1372 within Korea)
  • Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee — ecmc.or.kr

If mediation is not reached, disputes will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction under the Korean Code of Civil Procedure.
